At the age of 3, I saw a photographer taking pictures for the first time, and I was filled with curiosity and admiration. When I was 5, during my first family portrait session, I imagined myself becoming a photographer. In high school, I chose to study fine arts due to my passion for art, and later majored in fine arts in college. However, my dream of becoming a photographer never wavered.
In 2004, I obtained the Chinese Intermediate Photographer Certification and worked as a contracted photographer for various newspapers, magazines, fashion publications, institutions, and foreign embassies in China. Passionate about natural and authentic photography, I founded "Beijing Chocolate Box Children's Photography Studio" in 2008, focusing on children's and family photography. The studio was officially registered in April 2009 and has since served thousands of families from more than ten countries, becoming one of Beijing’s most renowned children's photography studios.
Since 2010, I have been mentoring photography apprentices, helping them grow into outstanding photographers. Some of them continue to work at Chocolate Box Studio, while others have become independent photographers or started their own studios, achieving remarkable success.

At the end of 2023, I wanted to share my 20+ years of photography experience and skills with more people, so I started teaching photography classes for children and teenagers. In February 2024, I expanded my teaching scope to include adult photography students. In October 2024, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, California, and began establishing a documentary art photography studio, dedicated to promoting documentary photography.
